The MSB (Modular Systems and Boards) line is designed to meet life-cycle challanges posed by high-end Digital Signal Processing systems. The modular design of this line is guided by the systems view that Hardware must accommodate the application architecture. This new product line has a modular and scalable DSP/FPGA multiprocessing architecture consisting of DSP, A/D, D/A, and FPGA modules. Designers select a carrier board of their choice (PCI, cPCI, VME, VXI, or standalone) and populate carrier board(s) with appropriate modules. Module to module communications are done through up to 400MBytes/sec buses. We offer optional LINPACK and EISPACK libraries as well. Parallel software development tools and associated software drivers are available for easy and flexible development environment. DSP Research provides assistance through the entire system development life-cycle. This includes the pre-sales stage where we assist designers and developers with system architecture compliant hardware.
